Greetings everyone, finally updates have been made to my website. Sorry for being gone for so long. I am getting a hang of this motherhood thingy, working full time and scheduling an occasional performance. Got some new tunes in my back pocket....A Michael Jackson Tribute tune titled, "One Glove", some songs inspired by my little guy PJ, "You are the best thing", and "Ten Little Fingers, Ten Little Toes". I also am finalizing a tune about forgiveness...haven't named it yet but it is one of those serious ones that keeps you thinking...........I guess turning the big 4-0 got my serious side rolling... Well... hope to see you out at my gig in June to hear the new stuff... |

It has been a wonderful 6 months since our first son, PJ was born. I know I should have more to write but we are still quite sleep deprived. I'm just excited that I updated the website with a new picture and my 2 new May gigs. Thanks for alway supporting me:) |

I did get my wish from January for the snow to fall and boy did it get cold. Brrrrr Just after a rather large snow storm, I had the pleasure of performing at a new venue in Hamtramck, CAFE 1923. It is a great room and I hope to play there again soon. I am also very excited for an April gig at Memphis Smoke for the Motor City Music Foundation. I will have the pleasure of sharing the stage with 9 other acoustic acts. Hope to see you soon:) |

Happy New Year!!!! I'm looking foward to a new year filled with inspiration and music. I am also hoping for some snow. It is very strange around these parts without that white stuff on the ground. Plus we bought a snow blower 2 years ago and have only used it once.. te he he he |

November was especially exciting with my 5th consecutive Lamb's Songwriter Retreat in Northern Michigan. I was able to see one of my favorite songwriters and performers, Edie Carey. Her voice is that of a angel and her new album is fabulous. Our Song Anon group also had the pleasure of performing at the Trinity House Theatre. It was a fabulous evening of talented songwriters. The wonderful and talented, Judy Insley joined me during my set. It was a blast. Getting ready for the Holidays and the New Year. |

Oh my goodness, how time flies. Can't believe the summer is coming to an end. I have been busy with outdoor festivals, including my 1st performance at Arts, Beats and Eats. I have also been inspired to write some new tunes as well as putting one of my Grandfather's poems to music. Fall is just around the corner and my favorite season of the year. |

Great news:) Thanks to my talented filmmaker husband, Steve Oatley, the music video, "She is Not Alone", has been nominated for a Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Music Video, Limited Budget. We had 2,900 listeners at my first internet radio broadcast on A3 radio. It was a blast and I plan to perform again on October 1st. |

I was able to attend another great Songwriter Retreat in November. Of course it is always helpful to go Up North for a weekend getaway. This year my good friend, Kristin joined me and we had a superb time. The talent at the retreat was outstanding! It was so inspiring. |
